In Stamford, Connecticut a chimp named Travis flipped out and attacked a friend of his owner. It is speculated that the chimp was suffering from Lyme disease which may have cause paranoia and led to the attack. The friend of the owner (I am leaving names out) suffered such serious injuries that she may not survive.
Now... this chimp was spoiled and never disciplined so... this just goes to prove that an unspanked monkey actually CAN explode! Ladies.. ;)

Back to more serious issues. Monkeys are NOT domesticated little lap dogs and should NEVER be kept as pets. I don't care how much money they earn in commercials. Only properly trained zoologists should care for these types of exotic animals.
If you get the urge to buy a chimp, or any other kind of monkey-type critters, DON"T!!!!!!!
This tragedy could have been avoided if laws were more strict regarding exotic animals and the ownership there of.
